Since then, she has:
Been kicked out of the BC Conservative Party for mocking residential school survivors
Formed a new political party, OneBC, with MLA Tara Armstrong of Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream (OneBC received additional funding of over $200,000 due to its status as an official party in BC, and $442,000 for Brodie’s office as leader)
Appeared to use taxpayer funds to produce and promote a "documentary" titled Making a Killing: Reconciliation, Genocide, and Plunder in Canada, which contributes to residential school denialism
Attempted to pass a bill prohibiting land acknowledgments in schools
Tabled a bill to remove Truth and Reconciliation Day because “The idea that we need to reconcile presumes an act of wrongdoing and regret” and claimed that there was no wrongdoing perpetrated against Indigenous people during the settlement of Canada.
Posted a photo of herself with a sign that says "Zero Bodies" in front of an Every Child Matters sign, denying the deaths of children at Canada’s residential schools
Suggested that First Nations politicians like Á'a:líya Warbus (Chiliwack-Cultus Lake MLA and member of the Sto:lo Nation) have no place in the BC Conservative Party, saying she belongs in the NDP
Tweeted her support for a nurse who was fired from Vancouver Coastal Health for making discriminatory and derogatory comments about transgender patients
Said no woman would use a gender neutral bathroom
Claimed a growing number of British Columbians want the province to separate from Canada
Called Indigenous rights a threat to Canadian sovereignty
Insisted on calling Haida Gwaii by a name that has not been used in over a decade
Demanded that BC “defund” the First Nations Leadership Council
Said raising a transgender flag on the National Transgender Day of Remembrance is a “denigration of our history”
Introduced a bill to ban diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in public institutions, claiming “Men, Whites, Asians and Jews” are being discriminated against
OneBC lost official party status in the legislature following an internal dispute where Brodie was removed as party leader.
Brodie returned as leader and the party board resigned after over a week of public conflict.
